Even in our busy daily lives, we often find small joys in the little landscapes and scenes around
us. Everywhere in the world, there are unique and beautiful landscapes, and by observing
them, we come to realize how truly beautiful the world is. If we were to lose the ability
to see this beautiful world for ourselves, it would be an immense and heartbreaking loss.

In July 2002, in the naturally beautiful Jeju Island, we opened an eye clinic with the hope of
becoming a warm hospital that helps the bodies and minds of those who are ill. It has been
20 years since then. Jeju Samsung Eye Clinic has been dedicated to providing accurate diagnoses,
treatments, and explanations to all those who visit, including residents of Jeju Island and its
surrounding islands such as Chuja-do, Udo, and Gapado, as well as mainland visitors and foreigners
who come with eye discomfort.

We have strived for 20 years with a sense of responsibility towards our patients’ healthy lives,
avoiding excessive treatments and unnecessary surgeries. We continue to do our best with all
our staff, maintaining honesty and diligence.

State-of-the-Art Equipment

We use advanced diagnostic equipment equivalent to that found in university hospitals, including the SIRIUS corneal topography scanner, ORB-SCAN corneal topography scanner, OCT retinal tomography scanner, B-SCAN ocular ultrasound scanner, corneal endothelium cell counter, fundus fluorescein angiography camera, Humphrey visual field analyzer, and IOL Master for precise diagnosis.

We are equipped with Schwind AMARIS and ATOS SMART Smile LASIK devices, allowing us to perform all types of vision correction surgeries including Smile LASIK, lens implantation (ICL), and Smart LASEK. Our operating room is designed with a temperature and humidity control system and an air-purification ventilation system to prevent secondary infections.
